Anxiety And Panic Attacks Common Cures Used

If you suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, you’ve probably spent countless hours researching the various cures that can help you lead a normal life. You’re probably tired of getting panicked every time you get in front of people or just enter social situations, and you’re probably sick of feeling nauseous and light headed whenever you’re stressed. The good news is that there are many cures out there for anxiety and panic attacks. Not all of them work for every person. Therefore, you really need to research the various cures available and then work on trying each cure until you find one that works for you.

It should be noted that some people try to cure their anxiety and panic attacks with drugs and alcohol. Drugs and alcohol can lower your inhibitions and can help you forget about the anxiety and panic attacks while you’re intoxicated but that’s not really helping anything. You need to treat the anxiety and panic attack symptoms directly and that’s something that you should not do with drugs and or alcohol. Of course I’m talking about the use of illegal drugs.

Prescribed Drugs

There are so many drugs on the market today that are approved by the FDA for curing anxiety and panic attacks. There’s Paxil, Prozac, Klonopin and more. Your doctor will need to examine you to see which drugs will help you. It really depends on the severity of your problem as well as your reaction to the various drugs available. Remember that if your doctor prescribes a certain drug and it doesn’t seem to work even after a few weeks, tell your doctor so that he or she may prescribe you another one. It may take some trial and error but eventually you’ll find one that helps with your anxiety and panic attacks.

Meditation and Deep Breathing

Meditation and deep breathing are great for curing anxiety and panic attacks. Some people are able to overcome their problems and lead normal lives without drugs of any kind just by meditating a little every day. Then, if they ever feel the anxiety and panic attacks coming on, they practice deep breathing exercises until the feelings subside. You can study up on mediation, deep breathing and even Yoga to help with your anxiety and panic attacks. It will probably take some time and lots of practice but eventually you will overcome these feelings and you will feel better and more at peace with yourself after mastering these techniques.

These are only a few of the cures available for anxiety and panic attacks. Do your own research and try to find one that works for you. You can overcome these feelings, you only have to work at it.

Panic Attack Cures For Those Who Suffer

If you suffer from anxiety panic attacks you are always looking for panic attack cures. The situations that cause panic attacks differ for everyone. Some people get them when in a social situation, others get them while driving their car. It’s important to pinpoint what causes your anxiety panic attacks so that you can then work on curing them.

What Are Panic Attacks?

So what is a panic attack? For those who may not know what a panic attack is, it’s not a pleasant feeling. The most common symptoms of panic attacks include rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, nausea, and just an intense feeling of panic. You would have all experienced some form of panic at one time or another. An almost near miss car accident, fear of the unknown in the night, the ‘What was that?’ That’s essentially what it feels like to have a panic attack. Just think of the most panicked you’ve ever been in your life and then think of having that feeling during normal, every day situations and you’ll know what it’s like to suffer from panic attacks on a regular basis.

The Causes of Panic Attacks

If you’ve been suffering from panic attacks for some time, you likely know what situations cause them. Maybe you get panicked whenever you’re talking to someone attractive or maybe you get them whenever your boss hands you work beyond your usual workload. Whatever it is, make sure you concentrate on that situation so that you can find out why you get panicked whenever said situation happens. Only you can determine the underlying cause of your panic attacks. Really think hard to see if you can remember the first time you felt a panic attack in that situation. It’s likely that soon you’ll come up with a reason why the attacks happen and when that happens, you’ll be much better prepared to fix it.

Curing The Attacks

If you were able to determine the underlying cause of your panic attacks, the best thing you can do is enter the very situation that causes them. That’s right. Enter the situation head on while practicing deep breathing exercises or by concentrating on being confident. This is going to take a lot of practice and you may very well fail the first few times. However, if you do this often enough, you’ll soon be able to enter that situation without suffering a panic attack and very soon cure anxiety and panic attacks naturally.
