Stress Relief Technique You Can Do Anytime

Stress Relief Technique To Increase Happy Hormones

I found this great technique you might like to try to relieve your anxiety and stress. It is so simple you can do it anywhere (or perhaps not anywhere…you will see why in a moment), but you certainly can find a little private spot to calm yourself.

There are so many times where we have those anxious feelings of stress begin to rise, so to keep a few ‘fixes’ up our sleeve is a good thing. Anyway, watch and give it a try!

There are many ways you can calm yourself down…do you have a special technique? Did you try this one? You did! Great, let me know how you feel below. You didn’t? Well, why not hit the play button and try it! If nothing else it will make you smile and entertain you briefly.

Deep breathing is one anxiety relief technique we cannot overlook. It is free, it works and it is good for you! Open up your airways. I also recommend you place your hand on your abdomen, just above your navel. Feel the air go all the way down. So many of us breathe ‘up top’ in the chest and throat. Breathe deeply!

So, what tips do you have to share? I’d love to hear your comments below and if you like the article, why not share it with your friends? I will love you for it and they will love you! It will help anyone relax, not just those facing anxiety issues.

Very interesting video and actually the alternate nostrils breathing technique is very effective for relaxation.

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

Yes, it’s a great technique, especially as you can do it anywhere…or at least almost anywhere :)

      Thanks for visiting!

  2. I tried this and it was very calming…….. I need to do this more often when I am all stressed out! Thanks!

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

That’s great Lauren! It works really well. I have shown my family this method and they laugh at first, but have since told me how wonderful it is. I think the more people who try any type of deep breathing technique will benefit in so many ways, not just by calming their stress and anxiety.

The more oxygen that flows through the body, the healthier we are physically and mentally.

  3. I would love to learn about belly breathing techniques! Thanks!

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

I am so proud of you wanting to learn. It is incredible how so many of us don’t know how to breathe properly…and belly breathing or diaphragmatic breathing as it is also called is not taught!

I was first introduced to it by my chiropractor. He informed me that I don’t breathe properly (fancy that…) I was shocked!

He said I breathed like most women, which is high up in the chest. It made me think of the women years ago that wore corsets.

Most men on the other hand, breathe correctly.

So, you have made me aware that I haven’t discussed this extremely important method of breathing. I will write a detailed article on it today and write down the link here when I am done!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do the exercise and share your thoughts.

Talk to you soon! Now to write about belly breathing! :)

  4. Thanks can’t wait to learn about it! I need some stress relief!
