ProVanax Review – Your Questions Answered

Are You Looking To Ease Your Anxiety and Stress Naturally?

ProVanax is a natural supplement for anxiety, panic attacks, depression and stress. I first reviewed ProVanax in 2009 and I am still impressed. I love how it is all natural and how it helps create calmness and relaxation. My ProVanax review will give you the answers to your questions, regarding the ingredients, the side effects and how it may benefit you.

ProVanax

ProVanax – Doctor Endorsed and Clinically Proven

Regular medications have their problems and this is where ProVanax may be more suitable for you…but how? It is a natural alternative to many of the anti-depressants such as Prozac, Xanax, Valium, Zoloft and Ambien.

  • It’s important to remember that you should never stop taking any prescribed anxiety medications abruptly. Many are extremely addictive and if you desire to stop taking prescription medications, you need to do so under your doctor’s supervision.
  • So please remember that ProVanax cannot ‘replace’ these powerful drugs. You can however, ask if you can use it alongside any medication you are taking currently or inquire as to gradually reducing your need for your prescription meds. It may help you ease yourself off them so that you can function without them.

Boost Dopamine and Serotonin Levels

ProVanax has your cortisol and dopamine and serotonin levels covered.

  • It will help increase your dopamine levels, boost your serotonin levels and it goes one step further…inhibits cortisol levels…which is known as the ‘stress and stomach fat’ hormone.
  • Stress and weight gain are often related, mainly because we eat for comfort, especially if we are stressed. The cortisol hormone is said to trigger feelings of stress and anxiety. It can therefore help you with those binge eating episodes.

ProVanax Side Effects and Ingredients

There have been no known negative side-effects and you don’t have to worry about withdrawal symptoms. This is not a drug.

  • It is a natural herbal anxiety supplement.

You are merely neutralizing a hormonal battlefield caused by daily stress and normal wear and tear on the body. As previously stated, you are increasing your dopamine levels, optimizing your serotonin levels and reducing your cortisol levels. This is a natural anxiety treatment, not a prescription!

ProVanax ingredients are certified and purity tested. The ProVanax website has detailed fact sheets regarding every ingredient in full detail.

Do you have questions? Are you skeptical?

  • After all, how can a natural anxiety supplement be the ‘fix’ for so many mood problems that have been plaguing your life for years? There are so many products on the market today that it is difficult to choose which one is the best.
  • I have been promoting this product by HFL Solutions since 2009 and Dr Sam Robbins has answered every question I have ever asked and helped me provide answers for all my friends and family.

    • Hi Corey,

ProVanax® is certainly a safe, natural product to try.

While I can make no guarantees, there are many anxiety sufferers who have experienced very positive results through using ProVanax® as directed. You can read the testimonials and reviews from others on the website.

If you have specific questions, please ask me! I would like to be able to help you.

      • Cathy Frederick says:

I am on a serotonin reuptake it’s Lexapro 25 mg can Van Eck’s pro Vanex be taken in connection with this and who is speaking to me for replying to my question

        • Jennifer Johnson says:

Hi Cathy, I will ask Dr Sam Robbins for you. I’m Jennifer, and don’t have any qualifications to answer that question. As soon as I hear back, I will let you know! Also, I am assuming you mean ProVanax…? Thank you.

        • Jennifer Johnson says:

Hi Cathy, I’ve heard back already!

Dr Sam said, “Yes, you can take ProVanax with Lexapro – I would just start with only 1 pill and see how they feel and then 2 and 3 and so forth. There won’t be any negative interactions, we just want to start low and test. This is something you should do with any new supplement, especially when adding it to an existing medicine. Thanks =)”

  2. buddy johnson says:

Hi, I want too keep it real brief. I suffer from depression/ADD followed by low self esteem and poor focus/concentration and I would like too know if your guys product would be able too help me in those areas.

    • Jennifer says:

      Hi Buddy,

Of course, legally I cannot give you any medical advice. I don’t know if you are taking any other medications from your doctor, but if you’re currently taking anti-anxiety, anti-depression or insomnia medications or herbs, you will most likely need to speak to your doctor about reducing or lowering your dosages for your medications, when using ProVanax®.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask, or you can read more FAQ’s in more detail.

      • jarrad jelsma says:

Hi, In the past I had severe panic attacks, anxiety and scared of everything age 18-40 I mostly got over it, then I was diagnosed with bi polar 1-08 put on zyprexa, then in 10-08 I started having panic attacks and anxiety. Dtarted taking xanax, 2mg a day .5 then 1.5at night to sleep along with 10mg zyprexa.

I weaned down my zyprexa to 2.5a day xanax still the same, I would like to try something different, than zyprexa.

It agrees with me then it doesn’t. The xanax I would like to stop, my concern is provanax has hyperforin which speeds the clearance of xanax from the body and then too hyperforin I read that bi polar shouldn’t take. It could make them manic which is what I was in 1-08, with no drugs involved.

Is the mixture ok because it has a combo of ingredients…docs or pharms wont give me answers. I don’t want to withdrawal, from the fast clearance of xanax, or have major manic racing thoughts…I cant sleep without the xanax, and only sleep 4-5hrs anyway.

I do function on less to no zyprexa better, but still a mess…but not manic…for now anyway:)

I do have a problem with getting out of bed though Ive been awake for hrs don’t have motivation, its like I don’t know where to start. When I was put on zyprexa 2 yrs ago I didn’t have this problem of fearing everything and now its worse than ever.

What do you think? Thanks for reading:) Hope this makes sense…

        • Hi Jarrad,

I cannot give you medical advice as your doctors know your history far better than I ever could, but I do suggest you ask the doctors on the Provanax website.

They are: Dr. Sam Robbins – Founder and Dr. Ann Lakner, M.D., Ph.D. – Psychiatrist. If you contact them they will be able to answer you. You can contact them at the bottom of the page.

If you like I can ask for you, but it would be better if you could talk to them directly. Jennifer

  3. I love this product I have been taking it like i took xanax to help sleep and wow 2 pills when i get home from work and one a bedtime i sleep all night long and wake refreshed.

    • Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the feedback! It’s great to hear you have received relief…and it sounds like you don’t need to take your Xanax. If that’s correct it definitely is a win-win!

  4. jarrad jelsma says:

Hi again , need to add I also didnt tolerate Lexapro as an anti anxiety anti dep…caused me more confusion and then of course a 5 star panic attack within an hour 1/2 of taking 5mg thank God it only lasted 20mins or so that was a 4mg xanax day, thanks again, Jarrad

    • Hi Jarrad,

I will contact Dr Sam for you and get him to contact you personally. From speaking to him in the past, I know he has suggested people take ProVanax alongside their prescription medications if necessary, especially if the dosages are high.

Again, I do not have medical qualifications and legally I cannot advise you.

I do however, want to help you anyway I can!

  5. Can this just be taken as needed instead of every day – for the occasional panic attack?

    • Hi Lisa,

There is a list of instructions available, but you can click here for more details – ‘Instruction

      You can choose your ‘cycle.’

      They have three cycles explained.
      1. “General” Recommended Usage
      2. Cycle Option “A” – 3 weeks on/1 weeks off
      3. Cycle Option “B” – 5 days on/2 days off

You may find one of these cycles suit you, depending how often your occasional panic attacks are.

If you need more help, please don’t hesitate to ask me and I will do my best to answer them for you.

      Jennifer

  6. Just like to say thanks Jennifer. I never left a comment before, when I first read your review, but I went and purchased it. I figured with a money back guarantee and a coupon discount, I had nothing to lose. I am glad I did.

    Thanks again.

    • Thanks for coming back and letting me know Robert! I am always pleased to receive feedback and especially when I know my review has helped someone relieve their anxiety with a natural solution!

  7. I live in Australia and wondered if I can buy Provanax with the coupon you are offering. Thanks

    • Hi Jim,

Yes, ProVanax is available in Australia and you can use the coupon code above to save 15% off your order.

  8. Is this what you would call a natural anti-anxiety medication? If it is, this is what I would rather try before I thought about anything else. I know you said, “It is a safe natural anxiety medicine to anti-depressants, such as Prozac, Xanax, Valium, Zoloft and Ambien.”

I guess I am asking if an anti-anxiety medication is an anxiety medicine. Sorry if I am confused, I have read so much stuff, I just don’t want to buy the wrong thing.

    • Hi Brant,

Yes, this is a natural supplement for anxiety, which is classed as an alternative to other prescription medications. It doesn’t replace high dose medications, although you can ask your doctor if you can take it alongside prescription medications for when relief is needed in between doses.

If you do decide to buy ProVanax you can expect to receive natural anxiety relief without the side effects of many prescription medications.

I hope I have answered your question…but please ask me for more clarification if I haven’t made myself clear…and also ask your doctor too.

  9. I hate taking medications for panic attacks, but I suffer with them badly. I feel like I am going to have one now writing this!

I told my doctor I wanted to try a natural treatment and he is very supportive although he wants me to find out as much information as possible and bring it to him first.

My research has bought me to this Provanax review and you have supplied answers to the questions he wanted me to find out about any of the natural supplements I was interested in.

If he wants more clarification are you able to get it for me?

    Thanks

    • Jennifer says:

Yes Simone, any questions you or your doctor has, I will get the answers for you by contacting Dr Sam Robbins.

  10. I must say this sounds great. I was looking for a something to help me as I feel stressed out all the time. I know I am gaining weight too from nibbling to calm my nerves…which is also very depressing! Every time I feel under pressure I reach for food and I can’t stop eating! My boyfriend told me I was getting cuddly 🙁

If this can help me do all that, stop my anxiety, stop me feeling stressed and therefore not make me get fat…then I will try it.

Is it really a 200% money back guarantee…or did you make a mistake?

    • Jennifer says:

Yes, the makers of Provanax, HFL Solutions, offer a 200% satisfaction guarantee, because they are that positive about its effectiveness. It is no mistake 🙂

  11. I just left a small comment on another page about dopamine and serotonin and then clicked through to here after it. So does this somehow help with an increasing weight problem? I tend to grab the blocks of chocolate when I start feeling stressed to the max.

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

      Hi Jeremy,

When you are stressed you may tend to reach for the ‘comfort foods’ which tends to indicate your cortisol levels are high. ProVanax can help balance your cortisol levels, thus the need for reaching for that chocolate fix are diminished.

That in turn means you won’t gain weight from the extra indulges, as you won’t have the need for them.

  12. Hi,

Do you have to take this product on an empty stomach? I thought it was recommended to take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, but I read where people take it in the afternoon and in the evening, as well.

How can this product help OCD?

    Thanks,

    Misty

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

      Hi Misty,

I have forwarded your questions on to Dr Sam and as soon as I receive the answer, I will post it here for you.

There are also dosage instructions you can read here: “Instructions“. It is very helpful and explains what you have read.

…but, you will hear more soon!

      • Jennifer Johnson says:

        Hi Misty,

I have been advised that the information I gave you was correct. The general instructions are to take ProVanax twice a day, preferably on an empty stomach. The full detailed instruction dosages (depending on every individual’s needs) is on that page I gave you the link for above.

As for OCD, every patient has different levels of anxiety.

ProVanax “Gives your body the nutrients it needs, to relieve anxiety, panic, stress insomnia, nervousness, depression, mood swings, tension, and worry.” The formulation is designed to ‘ease’ these symptoms.

I hope this has helped you, if not please let me know, so I can help you further.

  13. I have always been kind of leery to take medicines for anxiety/stress related issues but now I am glad to hear that there is help other than prescription medicine. I always dread going to the doctor since most of the medicine that they seem to prescribe can be treated by plants and herbs.

    • True words Rosa! That is exactly right! Traditional doctor’s can only prescribe traditional prescription medications and most health issues can be treated by a herbal supplement or medicine.

After all people have been using natural treatments for anxiety and stress issues for centuries, it’s only now that it is seen as ‘advanced’ to use traditional methods…whereas I see it as a step backwards, especially when there are dreadful side effects involved.

  14. Hello,

I have suffered every since I was little with bad anxiety, and I have always been able to manage it pretty well, I was a college athlete in baseball and used to have them then also, I hid them and they seem to go away on their own. I’ve always stayed active and in good shape. Well I am 30 now, have a great job, in good health couldn’t be happier but over the last 3 weeks, I have absolutely had crippling panic attacks at night that last for hours, anxiety and just tension and worry that lasts all day. Its just a constant struggle.

I have taken passionflower for the past few years and it seems to help but I need something more before this affects my career and social life. I have a wonderful family that supports me through everything and I DO NOT want to walk down the road of prescription medication. I just received my bottle and cant wait to start taking this for the results I desire. I do have a question though… I have a high priority job in sales and it requires me to take customers out a lot to lunch and golf socials, evening dinners and all the normal butt kissing stuff and I have to drink, that’s part of it. So…. can I drink alcohol while taking Provanax?

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

      Hi Josh,

As you know, alcohol can make your anxiety worse, so it is best to refrain if possible, although I know that makes us feel unsociable too. As for taking alcohol with Provanax I wanted to ask for a professional response, so I contacted Dr Sam Robbins for you.

      Here is his reply,

“Hi… it’s not a problem to drink alcohol with ProVanax. No negative interactions. Of course, alcohol can “heighten” the effects of drugs and herbs, so keep that in mind and start low.

Also, you might want to ask the server to “water” down your drinks … this way, you can still interact with people, “fit in” and yet, reduce your alcohol consumption indirectly.”

I hope you find relief taking ProVanax and I would love to here how you go. If you have any questions at all, please just ask me.

      Take care,
      Jennifer

  15. Jennifer says:

I have just been asked the following question:

“I am interested in Provanax for anxiety and was wondering if it can make you feel drowsy and sleepy? Is it something you can take long term every day? I am currently taking Welbutrin and want to find a more natural option for my anxiety. Thanks so much for answering my questions!”

With any specific questions I receive, I always ask Dr Sam Robbins to answer for me, so if I haven’t answered this question enough I will be asking for a better answer.

    However, this may be helpful…

“I can tell you that all the ingredients are 100% natural and organic. I can also tell you that you don’t feel groggy when you wake up when you take ProVanax, but they can help you relax, feel calm and help you get to sleep.

It is recommended you don’t take every single day…but to ‘cycle’. I have copied this off the website to explain why:

“As a dietary supplement, take 2-3 capsules, twice daily with 8-16 oz (1-2 full cups) of water (preferably on an empty stomach). For acute or “high stress” situations (mental or physical), take 4-8 capsules at once for instant relief. It’s best to “cycle” this product and NOT to use it continuously, or your body may adapt and results will be reduced. ”

For example one of the cycle options is to take 3 weeks on and 1 week off.

I hope this answer helps you too. I am happy to answer any of your questions…so please ask me in the comment box below.

  16. Does provanex really work for Panic and GAD and what kind of doctor is Sam Robbins? Is he a board certified MD?

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

      Hi John,

ProVanax is an all natural supplement to provide ‘symptom relief’. It is not a medication that is prescribed to treat a problem. If you asked me, ‘Do anxiety medications work for panic and GAD?’ I would say again they are used to provide ‘symptom relief’.

In my opinion the answer is some things work for one person, some things work for another. I have had many of my visitors say that ProVanax works. I haven’t had anyone come back to me and say it didn’t. Therefore I am assuming that they also found ‘symptom relief’.

I do not know the legalities of doctor certification, but Dr Sam Robbins has studied Endocrinology and Psychology. For over 20 years he has been helping thousands of people…so whether I ask him to show his medical qualifications or not…he is a doctor of incredible healing in my own eyes.

I do not personally like going to see a ‘doctor’ per se, because they prescribe me with a medication for any illness. I prefer to see my holistic providers as they ‘treat’ the source of an imbalance.

That is what Dr Sam Robbin’s supplements do and why I believe in promoting a supplement like ProVanax.

      • Thanks for you reply Jennifer. What do you do personally to manage your own anxiety condition? Your blog says you are anxiety free I think and you take no Rx drugs, right? Do you take provanex yourself? Do you take it daily? Do you take other things? What exactly do you do to mange your anxiety disorder on a day to day basis and how long have you been able to do this? Thanks!

        • Jennifer Johnson says:

I love all your questions John!

Firstly, you are correct, I do not take prescription drugs. I have always been an all natural girl, so it was never an option for me…although there have been plenty of times in my life where I nearly did.

I personally am not taking ProVanax ONLY because I don’t need it now, as I have found ways to ‘manage’ or ‘overcome’ my anxiety before I even learned about this supplement. If I hadn’t found my own ways…I would be taking it guaranteed.

So what do I do? I follow my own anxiety diet rules and exercise to boost my ‘feel good hormones’ and quite a few other things too!

For example I am diligent with my Vitamins and Minerals. I meditate and deep breathe when I am feeling panicky. I have social anxiety, so I ‘prepare’ myself when I have to go anywhere.

I have been able to manage my anxiety now for approximately the last 10 years! Wow! I hadn’t realized before…so thank you for asking!

I see you have signed up to my newsletter, so hopefully something I share with you will provide you with your own answer.

  17. Jennifer Johnson says:

I just want to post this reply I received from Dr Sam Robbins on a question I was asked on another page of my website…his reply may be helpful to you.

    “Dear Jennifer,

Truth is, nobody knows how a person will react to any medication – drug or natural. Certainly not a person who has been “suffering” with depression for 40 years.

Some people email me saying that they feel like a new person and their entire life has changed all within the first month. Then I have others saying that they felt a slight improvement and then over the next 2-3 months they realized that they felt much better, but it was a slow and subtle change.

Then I have others who have said they didn’t feel anything until they got off and WOW… it was THEN they noticed how well ProVanax had worked.

    And finally, the dosage.

Some take 1-2 pills daily and expect a miracle.

I have someone who has been on it for over 10 years and he said to me on Facebook how he has to take about 5-8 daily, but he literally can’t function without it because it’s changed his life.

As you can see, there is no straight answer and I sure don’t want to mislead the user.

But generally speaking, the higher the dosage, the longer the usage, the better and faster the results. Make sense?

It’s like losing weight. If someone goes to the gym for 15 min, 3x a week, they’ll get results… but not nearly as much as 30 min daily. Right? =)

    Hope this helps,
    Warmest Regards,
    Dr. Sam Robbins”

  18. Jennifer I’m a 72 yr old female who has been under stress and anxiety for most of her life. I’m now at a point everything gets on my nerves, don’t sleep well wake up 1 or 2 times a nite then in the morning it’s like I’ve worked all night. I was diagnosed when low D3 been supplementing for awhile it is increasing. I take a multivitamin every day. I started taking 5-htp and Dopa Mucuna for the last three days. Then I saw this. Any suggestions on how to take yours.

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

      Hi Louise,

I can certainly give you the dosage instructions. There are 3 options, but the general dosage is this one:

“As a dietary supplement, take 2-3 capsules, twice daily with 8-16 oz (1-2 full cups) of water (preferably on an empty stomach). For acute or “high stress” situations (mental or physical), take 4-8 capsules at once for instant relief.”

However, you can see all the instructions here: Dosage Instructions

If you have any more questions, please just ask me.

  19. Jennifer, I am having intrusive negative thoughts with my anxiety. Can provanax help me with this?

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

Hi Elsa, I have just sent your question to Dr Sam, so as soon as I hear from him, I will give you his answer!

    • Jennifer Johnson says:

      Hi Elsa,

This is how supportive Dr Sam is. He has just replied with this answer:

“ProVanax can certainly help, that’s for sure. However, only YOU have control on what you CHOOSE TO FOCUS on with your thoughts.

Over time, your brain has picked up “bad habits” of letting in a bad thought, but more so, FOCUSING on it and thus, GROWING it in your mind.

Children and animals don’t think like this. This is LEARNED

In life, “you get what you focus on” – it’s that simple.

So we need to retrain your mind and use better habits. Thus, when a negative thought comes in your mind, STOP it. Change it. Focus on something else that’s POSITIVE and now, GROW that positive thought. That part of your brain has “flabby muscles” as Arnold would say =)

We need to exercise it more.

When using ProVanax, you’ll have better hormones, neurotransmitters and so forth, making this process EASIER and FASTER. However, NO drug, or herb can do what the AMAZING human brain can do. =)

By the way, fear and anger are negative thoughts. The only way to change a negative thought is to be GRATEFUL. “An attitude of gratitude” causes your brain to stop focusing on the negative and focus on the positive.

Most people don’t know that your brain can ONLY FOCUS ON ONE emotion at a time. You cannot be angry and grateful… or fearful and grateful at the same time. Let’s choose a POSITIVE emotion to “kill off” the negative. =)

This will now create GOOD habits and strengthen your “brain muscles” to make better decisions on what to focus on. I hope this makes sense =)”
